- 2 pounds oxtail
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a large oven-safe pot, heat oil over medium heat and brown the oxtail on all sides.
- Add onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and black pepper.
- Cover and braise in the oven for 3-4 hours until the meat is tender.
- Remove oxtail from the pot and let cool slightly. Shred the meat from the bones.
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded oxtail, butter, and cream cheese. Whip until smooth and creamy.
- Season to taste and serve.

- Can be served warm or chilled.
- For added flavor, mix in fresh herbs like parsley.
