- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with water (for thickening)
Instructions
- In a pot, bring the beef broth to a boil.
- Add ground beef, cooking until browned.
- Stir in soy sauce, ginger, mushrooms, and carrot.
- Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Slowly add the beaten egg while stirring to create ribbons.
- Mix in the cornstarch mixture to thicken, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat, then stir in sesame oil and green onions.
- Serve hot.

- This soup can be customized with additional vegetables.
