A delicious and tender venison tenderloin topped with a rich garlic herb butter.

- 1 pound venison tenderloin
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the venison tenderloin with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and sear the tenderloin on all sides.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 15-20 minutes, or until desired doneness.
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic and chopped herbs.
- Once the venison is cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Top the tenderloin with the prepared garlic herb butter before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Be sure to let the meat rest before slicing to retain its juices.
- Adjust the herbs and seasoning to your taste.
