A unique and delicious glaze made with velvet marrow and persimmons that pairs beautifully with various dishes.
Ingredients

- 1 velvet marrow
- 2 ripe persimmons
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the velvet marrow in half and scoop out the seeds.
- Place on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until tender.
- In a blender, combine the baked marrow, persimmons, honey, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
- Serve the glaze warm over your choice of protein or vegetables.
Notes
- For a sweeter glaze, add more honey.
- This glaze works well with roasted meats or as a topping for grilled vegetables.
