Description
A rich and creamy French onion pasta topped with perfectly cooked steak.
Ingredients

- 8 ounces pasta of choice
- 2 cups onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded
- 1 pound steak, seasoned and cooked to preference
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat, then add the onions and cook until caramelized.
- Stir in the beef broth and thyme, simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the heavy cream and stir until well combined.
- Mix in the cooked pasta and half of the Gruyère cheese.
- Serve pasta topped with sliced steak and remaining cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add more cheese on top and broil until bubbly.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
