Description

A delicious and healthy recipe for Turmeric-Tallow Golden Chicken made with wholesome ingredients for a nourishing meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons tallow
  • 2 teaspoons turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, melt the tallow and mix in the turmeric, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them evenly with the spice mixture.
  4. Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
