- 2 pounds chicken thighs
- 3 tablespoons tallow
- 2 teaspoons turmeric
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, melt the tallow and mix in the turmeric, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them evenly with the spice mixture.
- Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
