Ingredients

- 2 pounds lamb shoulder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the lamb shoulder, browning on all sides.
- Pour in beef broth, then add cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover.
- Simmer for 2 hours or until the lamb is tender.
- Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the lamb overnight with spices.
- Serve with rice or flatbread for a complete meal.
