- 1 whole turkey (12-14 pounds)
- 2 cups smoked breadcrumbs
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lemon, halved
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your Traeger grill to 225°F.
- Prepare the stuffing by sautéing the onion, celery, and garlic in olive oil until soft. Mix in smoked breadcrumbs, chicken broth, herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the turkey with the prepared stuffing and place lemon halves in the cavity.
- Rub the turkey skin with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the turkey on the grill and smoke for about 30 minutes per pound or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
