Description

A delicious and refreshing Thai-inspired dish featuring seasoned duck served in crisp lettuce cups.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground duck
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 head of butter lettuce, leaves separated


Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground duck until browned.
  2. Drain excess fat and stir in fish sauce, lime juice, and sugar.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in red onion, bell pepper, mint, and cilantro.
  4. To serve, spoon the duck mixture into lettuce leaves and enjoy.

Notes

  • For added crunch, serve with chopped peanuts on top.
