- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Heat beef tallow in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
- Once the tallow is hot, carefully add the scallops to the skillet.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the scallops from the skillet and drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
Notes
- Ensure your scallops are thoroughly dried for a better sear.
- If you don’t have beef tallow, you can substitute with another high-smoke point oil.
