Description

Delicious stuffed beef spleen rolls filled with a savory mixture for a unique and traditional dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 beef spleen
  • 200 grams ground beef
  • 100 grams cooked rice
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 200 ml beef broth


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions, garlic, and bell pepper until soft.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in cooked rice, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Carefully clean the beef spleen and cut it open to create a pocket.
  6. Stuff the spleen with the beef mixture.
  7. Secure with kitchen twine or toothpicks.
  8. Place the stuffed spleen in a baking dish and pour beef broth over it.
  9. Bake for about 1 hour, basting occasionally.
  10. Let rest before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add chili flakes to the stuffing.
