- 1 beef spleen
- 200 grams ground beef
- 100 grams cooked rice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 200 ml beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions, garlic, and bell pepper until soft.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in cooked rice, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Carefully clean the beef spleen and cut it open to create a pocket.
- Stuff the spleen with the beef mixture.
- Secure with kitchen twine or toothpicks.
- Place the stuffed spleen in a baking dish and pour beef broth over it.
- Bake for about 1 hour, basting occasionally.
- Let rest before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add chili flakes to the stuffing.
