Description

A classic steak dish with a rich sauce, perfect for a romantic dinner for two.


Ingredients

  • 2 beef tenderloin steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Season the steaks with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat, then sear the steaks for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  3. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add the butter and garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce, then simmer for a few minutes to combine flavors.
  6. Return the steaks to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
