- 12 sea scallops
- 6 slices of bacon, cut in half
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Wrap each scallop with a half slice of bacon and secure it with a skewer.
- Brush the skewers with the olive oil mixture.
- Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the bacon is crispy and the scallops are opaque.
- Remove from the grill and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the scallops in the olive oil mixture for 30 minutes before wrapping them in bacon.
- Serve with a lemon wedge for added freshness.
