Description

Delicious scallops wrapped in crispy bacon, grilled to perfection and served on skewers for an impressive appetizer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 sea scallops
  • 6 slices of bacon, cut in half
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Wrap each scallop with a half slice of bacon and secure it with a skewer.
  4. Brush the skewers with the olive oil mixture.
  5. Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the bacon is crispy and the scallops are opaque.
  6. Remove from the grill and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the scallops in the olive oil mixture for 30 minutes before wrapping them in bacon.
