Description
Spicy Korean Fire Chicken, also known as Buldak, is a fiery dish from Korea made with chicken marinated in a spicy sauce and grilled or stir-fried until crispy.

- 1 pound chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 2 tablespoons gochugaru (Korean red chili pepper flakes)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine gochugaru, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar to create the marinade.
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and add to the marinade, mixing well. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until browned and cooked through.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the cooked chicken and cover the pan until the cheese melts.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal.
- Adjust the amount of gochugaru for preferred spice level.
