Delicious spiced lamb stuffed in pita pockets, served with a refreshing tzatziki sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground lamb
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground lamb over medium heat until browned.
- Add cumin, coriander, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Warm the pita breads in a dry skillet.
- Stuff each pita with the spiced lamb, diced tomatoes, and shredded lettuce.
- Drizzle with tzatziki sauce before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, let the lamb marinate for a few hours before cooking.
- Serve with extra tzatziki on the side.
