Description

Delicious and juicy smoked turkey thighs with perfectly crispy skin, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 turkey thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme


Instructions

  1. Preheat the smoker to 225°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and thyme to create a rub.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the turkey thighs.
  4. Place the turkey thighs in the smoker and smoke for about 4-5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Increase the smoker temperature to 375°F for the last 30 minutes to crisp up the skin.
  6. Remove the turkey thighs from the smoker and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
