Ingredients

- 200 grams smoked trout, skin removed and flaked
- 100 grams cream cheese
- 50 grams unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 teaspoon capers, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the smoked trout, cream cheese, and butter, and mix until smooth.
- Add lemon juice, dill, capers, salt, and pepper to the mixture and stir until well combined.
- Transfer the rillettes to a serving dish, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve with crackers or toasted bread.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- This spread can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
