- 3 pounds lamb ribs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper to create a rub.
- Apply the rub evenly over the lamb ribs.
- Place the ribs in the smoker, bone side down, and cook for 3-4 hours.
- After 2 hours, add chicken broth to a pan in the smoker for moisture.
- During the last 30 minutes, brush the ribs with barbecue sauce.
- Remove the ribs from the smoker and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For an enhanced flavor, marinate the ribs overnight with the rub.
- Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper for your preferred spice level.
- These ribs pair well with coleslaw and cornbread.
