- 4 duck legs
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- Season the duck legs with salt and place them in the smoker.
- Smoke the duck legs for about 2 hours or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic and thyme.
- Simmer for 5 minutes, then add the apple cider vinegar and mix well.
- Once the duck legs are smoked, remove them from the smoker and coat them with the butter reduction.
- Serve warm with additional sauce drizzled over the top.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding other herbs to the butter reduction, such as rosemary or oregano.
