- 4 chicken quarters
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 275°F (135°C).
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil and spices to create a rub.
- Coat the chicken quarters with the spice rub evenly.
- Place the chicken in the smoker and smoke for about 2 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the chicken from the smoker and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the rub overnight.
- Serve with your favorite BBQ sauce.
