Description

Deliciously smoked chicken quarters seasoned to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken quarters
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 275°F (135°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the olive oil and spices to create a rub.
  3. Coat the chicken quarters with the spice rub evenly.
  4. Place the chicken in the smoker and smoke for about 2 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Remove the chicken from the smoker and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the rub overnight.
  • Serve with your favorite BBQ sauce.
