- 2 cups smoked brisket, chopped
- 4 cups beef stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté onions, carrots, and celery until soft.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in flour and cook for another minute.
- Gradually add beef stock, whisking to prevent lumps.
- Add smoked brisket, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
- Simmer for 30 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
- Blend with an immersion blender for a smooth texture if desired.
