- 2 pounds beef tongue
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Soak the beef tongue in cold water overnight with salt.
- Rinse and place tongue in a pot of simmering water for 2-3 hours until tender.
- Allow to cool and thinly slice the tongue.
- In a bowl, mix black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, olive oil, and lemon juice.
- Toss the sliced tongue in the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the slices onto skewers and grill for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until charred.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
