- 2 pounds wild boar ribs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and spices to create a rub.
- Apply the rub generously on the ribs.
- Place the ribs in the smoker and smoke for 4-5 hours.
- During the last 30 minutes, brush the ribs with barbecue sauce.
- Remove from the smoker and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Wild boar meat is leaner than pork, so monitor cooking time closely.
- Try different flavors of barbecue sauce for variety.
