Delicious and tender slow-smoked wild boar ribs that are perfect for any barbecue.

- 2 racks wild boar ribs
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- Mix the dry spices together to create a rub.
- Apply the rub generously to both sides of the ribs.
- Place the ribs in the smoker, bone side down, and smoke for 4 to 5 hours.
- Every hour, spritz the ribs with apple juice to keep them moist.
- For the last 30 minutes, brush with barbecue sauce if desired.
- Remove from the smoker and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For best flavor, marinate the ribs overnight with the rub.
- Pair with your favorite sides for a complete meal.
