Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound calf liver
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, sliced


Instructions

  1. Soak the calf liver in milk for 1 hour.
  2. Drain and pat dry, then season with salt and pepper.
  3. Coat the liver slices in flour.
  4. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  5. Add the liver and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  6. Remove the liver and sauté the onions in the same skillet until soft.
  7. Serve the liver topped with sautéed onions.
