- 1 beef tongue
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 onion, quartered
- 3 garlic cloves, smashed

Instructions
- Place the beef tongue in a large pot and cover with water.
- Add the onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 3-4 hours, or until the tongue is tender.
- Remove the tongue and allow it to cool slightly before peeling off the skin.
- Shred the tongue using two forks.
- Serve warm in sandwiches or tacos.
