Description

A tender and flavorful dish made from beef tongue, perfect for sandwiches or tacos.


Ingredients

  • 1 beef tongue
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 3 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper


Instructions

  1. Place the beef tongue in a large pot and cover with water.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 3-4 hours, or until the tongue is tender.
  4. Remove the tongue and allow it to cool slightly before peeling off the skin.
  5. Shred the tongue using two forks.
