Description

This delicious Seared Ahi Tuna is topped with crispy bacon bits and rich wasabi butter, creating a unique and flavorful dish.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Ahi tuna steaks
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons wasabi paste
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix wasabi paste with softened butter and set aside.
  3. Season the Ahi tuna steaks with salt and black pepper.
  4. Heat sesame oil in the skillet over high heat.
  5. Sear the tuna steaks for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove from heat and slice the tuna.
  7. Plate the tuna and top with bacon bits and wasabi butter.
