- 2 Ahi tuna steaks
- 4 slices bacon
- 2 tablespoons wasabi paste
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix wasabi paste with softened butter and set aside.
- Season the Ahi tuna steaks with salt and black pepper.
- Heat sesame oil in the skillet over high heat.
- Sear the tuna steaks for 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Remove from heat and slice the tuna.
- Plate the tuna and top with bacon bits and wasabi butter.
