Description

A delicious Scotch fillet steak topped with rich garlic butter, perfect for a special dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 Scotch fillet steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and allow them to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  5. In the last minute of cooking, add the butter, garlic, and parsley to the pan.
  6. Baste the steaks with the garlic butter for the last minute of cooking.
  7. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
