A delicious and healthy dish featuring winter melon and ground chicken.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium winter melon
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 stalk green onion, chopped


Instructions

  1. Peel and cut winter melon into cubes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add ground chicken and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper.
  6. Add winter melon and chicken broth, bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until melon is tender.
  8. Garnish with green onion before serving.
