Ingredients

- 4 sardines, cleaned
- 1/2 cup duck fat
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Heat duck fat in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season sardines with salt and pepper.
- Fry sardines in the hot duck fat for about 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove sardines from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
- Drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
Notes
- Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal.
- Can be garnished with fresh herbs for added flavor.
