Description

These delicious sardine patties are bound together with egg yolks, making them rich and flavorful.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans sardines in oil, drained
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sardines, egg yolks, breadcrumbs, parsley, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small patties.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  5. Drain on paper towels before serving.

  • Serve with a wedge of lemon for added flavor.
