Ingredients

- 2 cans sardines in oil, drained
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sardines, egg yolks, breadcrumbs, parsley, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small patties.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
- Serve with a wedge of lemon for added flavor.
- Can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
