- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the salt and sugar together.
- In a shallow dish, spread half of the salt mixture.
- Place the egg yolks on top and cover them with the remaining salt mixture.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for 4-5 days.
- After curing, remove the yolks, rinse them gently, and pat dry.
- Let the yolks air dry for a few days until they are firm.
- Grate over your favorite dishes as a finishing touch.
