Description

Deliciously crispy salmon roe patties cooked in beef tallow for a rich flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup salmon roe
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef tallow for frying


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together salmon roe, bread crumbs, egg, onion, dill, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat beef tallow in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Fry the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  5. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
