- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 sprigs rosemary
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
Instructions
- Preheat the sous vide water bath to 129°F (54°C).
- Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper.
- Place steaks in a vacuum-sealed bag with olive oil, garlic, and rosemary.
- Submerge the bag in the water bath and cook for 2 hours.
- Remove from the bag and pat dry.
- Heat a skillet over high heat and sear the steaks for 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a more intense flavor, marinate the steaks for a few hours before sous vide cooking.
