Description

Indulge in a romantic and perfectly cooked sous vide filet mignon, seasoned to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 2 filet mignon steaks
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed


Instructions

  1. Preheat the sous vide water bath to 129°F (54°C).
  2. Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper.
  3. Place steaks in a vacuum-sealed bag with olive oil, garlic, and rosemary.
  4. Submerge the bag in the water bath and cook for 2 hours.
  5. Remove from the bag and pat dry.
  6. Heat a skillet over high heat and sear the steaks for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  7. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

  • For a more intense flavor, marinate the steaks for a few hours before sous vide cooking.
