Description

Indulge in a creamy and luxurious lobster bisque, perfect for a romantic dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails
  • 4 cups lobster stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, sauté onions, carrots, and celery until soft.
  2. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Pour in white wine and reduce by half.
  4. Add tomato paste, thyme, and paprika, stirring to combine.
  5. Add lobster stock and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add lobster tails and cook until the meat is tender.
  7. Remove lobster tails, let cool, then chop the meat into bite-sized pieces.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
  9. Add chopped lobster meat back to the pot and heat through.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
