- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken.
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan and roast for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving.

- For extra crispy skin, pat the chicken dry with paper towels before applying the rub.
