Delicious roasted duck leg served with a crispy prosciutto shard for added texture and flavor.
Ingredients

- 2 duck legs
- 2 slices prosciutto
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup duck or chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the duck legs with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the duck legs until golden brown.
- Remove the duck and sauté onions and garlic in the same skillet.
- Add the broth and return the duck legs to the skillet.
- Bake in the oven for about 1 hour, or until cooked through.
- In the last 10 minutes, add prosciutto slices on top of the duck legs and allow to crisp up.
- Serve hot with the crispy prosciutto shard.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil the duck legs for a few minutes after baking.
- Pair with roasted vegetables or a side salad.
