Description

A quick and delicious chicken cheesesteak recipe perfect for a weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until no longer pink.
  3. Add onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened.
  4. Place slices of provolone cheese on top of the chicken and vegetables to melt.
  5. Toast hoagie rolls and fill with the chicken mixture.
  6. Serve immediately.
