- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup rye flour
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, rye flour, salt, and pepper.
- Add olive oil and water, mix until a dough forms.
- Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
- Roll out the dough and cut into squares.
- Place a spoonful of chicken, cheese, pizza sauce, and Italian seasoning on each square.
- Fold over and seal the edges.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- You can substitute cooked turkey for chicken if preferred.
- This recipe can be easily doubled for a larger batch.
