Description

A deliciously moist and flavorful roast chicken prepared in an air fryer, served with a creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken.
  4. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 30-35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the cream sauce by combining heavy cream and lemon juice in a saucepan over low heat.
  6. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  7. Carve the chicken and serve with the cream sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight with the spice mixture.
