Description

A delicious and flavorful Portuguese-style roast chicken, perfectly cooked in an air fryer, served with a creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the chicken.
  4. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 30-40 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream and chicken broth over medium heat. Stir until heated through.
  6. Remove the chicken, let it rest for a few minutes, then carve.
  7. Serve the chicken drizzled with the cream sauce and sprinkle with parsley.
