Description

Deliciously tender and smoky, these Pork Belly Burnt Ends are coated in a sweet and sticky glaze that will leave you wanting more.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork belly, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F.
  2. Mix the spices and rub them all over the pork belly cubes.
  3. Place the pork belly in the smoker and smoke for 3 hours.
  4. Combine the barbecue sauce and apple juice.
  5. Toss the pork belly in the glaze and wrap it in foil.
  6. Return the wrapped pork to the smoker for an additional 1 hour.
  7. Unwrap the pork belly and smoke for another 30 minutes for a crispy finish.
