- 1 pound fettuccine pasta
- 1 pound sirloin steak
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Season the sirloin steak with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Toss the cooked fettuccine in the Alfredo sauce until well coated.
- Slice the steak and serve it over the pasta, garnished with parsley.
