Description

A delicious panko-crusted halibut dish served with sautéed Swiss chard.


Ingredients

  • 4 fillets halibut
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cups Swiss chard
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the halibut by seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge the fish in flour, dip it in beaten eggs, then coat it with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown the fillets on both sides.
  5. Transfer the fillets to a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
  6. In another skillet, sauté garlic in olive oil, then add Swiss chard and cook until wilted.
  7. Serve halibut with Swiss chard on the side.

Notes

  • Make sure the halibut is fresh for the best flavor.
  • Feel free to substitute other greens for Swiss chard if desired.
