Description

A delicious and savory pan-seared steak marinated in Merlot wine for added flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 1 cup Merlot wine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix Merlot, olive oil, garlic, black pepper, salt, and rosemary.
  2. Place steaks in the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a bit of olive oil.
  4. Remove steaks from marinade and sear in the skillet for 4-6 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
