Ingredients

- 2 ribeye steaks
- 1 cup Merlot wine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix Merlot, olive oil, garlic, black pepper, salt, and rosemary.
- Place steaks in the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a bit of olive oil.
- Remove steaks from marinade and sear in the skillet for 4-6 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
- Let the steaks rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
- This steak pairs well with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables.
- For extra flavor, consider adding a pat of butter on top before serving.
