Ingredients

- 2 duck breasts
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Score the skin of the duck breasts and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the duck breasts skin-side down in a cold skillet, then turn the heat to medium.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes until the skin is crispy and rendered, then flip and cook for another 4-6 minutes.
- Remove the duck from the skillet and let it rest.
- In the same skillet, add butter and thyme, and cook until fragrant.
- Slice the duck and serve with the thyme butter drizzled on top.
