Description

Deliciously tender and flavorful monkfish tail, perfectly pan-roasted to bring out its natural richness.


Ingredients

  • 2 monkfish tails
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the monkfish tails with salt, pepper, lemon zest, and thyme.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the monkfish tails and sear for 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Remove from the oven, drizzle with lemon juice, and serve warm.
