Description

A rich and flavorful pie combining succulent oysters and tender beef for a gourmet experience.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef steak, diced
  • 1 cup oysters, shucked
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large pan, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and beef broth; simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Gently fold in the oysters and let the mixture cool slightly.
  6. Roll out the pie crust and line a pie dish with it.
  7. Fill the crust with the beef and oyster mixture.
  8. Cover with another layer of pie crust and seal the edges.
  9. Brush the top with beaten egg.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. Let cool before serving.
