- 1 head cabbage
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove the core from the cabbage and separate the leaves.
- Boil the cabbage leaves in salted water for 3-5 minutes until pliable.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion, eggs, breadcrumbs, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Take a cabbage leaf, fill it with the beef mixture, and roll it up.
- Place the cabbage burgers seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the meat is cooked thoroughly.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute the ground beef with lentils or mushrooms.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
