Ingredients

- 1 pound beef
- 1 pound fish
- 1 pound shrimp
- 2 cups fish stock
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 fennel bulb, sliced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon saffron
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon thyme
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onions, garlic, carrots, and fennel; sauté until softened.
- Add beef and sauté until browned.
- Pour in the fish stock and diced tomatoes.
- Season with salt, pepper, thyme, saffron, and bay leaf.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes.
- Add fish and shrimp; simmer until cooked through.
- Serve hot with crusty bread.
